The Lenovo laptop line includes everything from budget laptops to exotic gaming laptops, rivaling Dell and HP in terms of variety. In such a large variety, it can be difficult to discern between different models due to the overlap between lines.

The Lenovo lineup consists of everything from the budget and midrange IdeaPads to the business-oriented ThinkPads and Legion gaming notebooks. The chances are you'll find what you're looking for from one of these categories.

Lenovo's IdeaPad consumer line features a wide variety of well-built, affordable laptops that meet most users' needs. Among the models is the IdeaPad Flex 3 for $230 with an 11.6-inch Full HD IPS display and an AMD Athlon 3050e processor, which is followed by the IdeaPad Slim 7 Pro for $1,450 with a 16-inch WQXGA IPS display and an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H processor.

A number of Intel's 12th-generation CPUs are available at higher prices, and AMD's Ryzen 6000 processors are also available. As well as discrete GPUs, you can find Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti cards.

In Lenovo's Yoga lineup, convertible 2-in-1s have 360-degree hinges and touchscreens, making them ideal for consumers. The Yoga 6i, the Yoga 7i, and the Yoga 9i are the current models. The models in the line play different roles.

The Yoga 6 has the smallest display and is the least expensive. The company only offers AMD Ryzen 5000 series processors, specifically the Ryzen 5 5500U and Ryzen 7 5700U.

A 13.3-inch 16:10 WUXGA LED IPS touch display is included, along with Radeon graphics, up to 16GB of RAM, and a 1TB solid-state drive. It weighs 3.02 pounds and has an all-metal chassis with an optional fabric top cover. A configuration can cost anywhere from $675 to $1,100.

Lenovo's Slim laptops are its premium clamshell laptops. It's a little confusing since you'll find models called 'IdeaPad Slim.' These are the Slim 7 and Slim 9 that serve the same audience as Yoga, but without the 2-in-1 functionality.

It is available in Intel and AMD versions, as well as 13.3-inch, 14-inch, and 16-inch sizes. The lowest price is $1,300 for the Slim 7i Carbon with Core i7-1260P and 13.3-inch WQXGA IPS display. There is a high-end Slim 7i 16 for $1,640, featuring a 45-watt Intel Core i7-12700H and an Intel Arc A370M GPU.

Its iconic design, sturdy construction, and business features have been maintained by Lenovo since the line was inherited from IBM. Additionally, Lenovo.com lists 347 models, ranging from $569 ThinkPad E15 at the low end to $4,175 ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 5 at the high end.

In terms of business laptops, the ThinkPad line has a wide range of excellent models. In terms of the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 10, it provides a sturdy, thin, light chassis with solid performance and battery life in a 14-inch laptop.

In a small chassis, the ThinkPad X13s leverages Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 ARM CPU to provide great battery life. In addition to its all-black chassis and red accents, the ThinkPad has an excellent keyboard, touchpad, and TrackPoint, as well as solid business features.

It may be challenging to navigate the ThinkPad lineup, but if you do your research, you will find a business-class laptop that will fulfill every need. It is rare to find a business laptop lineup so diverse from so many manufacturers.

Lenovo's ThinkBook line targets small businesses. In addition to offering solid build quality, privacy and security, it also offers innovative features that businesspeople will appreciate.

As for the latter, ThinkBook offers 2 unique models, including the ThinkBook Plus Gen 2 with its e-ink screen mounted on the lid, and the ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 with its large second screen.

As a final note, Lenovo offers gaming laptops under the Legion brand. IdeaPad's least expensive gaming machines fall in the Legion line, which starts at midrange and progresses up from there.

Lenovo's gaming laptop line consists of laptops with a gaming aesthetic and sleek, thin, and light, conservative designs - although it avoids extravagant designs like some other gaming laptop makers.

In the $1,100 Legion 5 Gen 6 with Ryzen 5 CPU and RTX 3050 GPU, you can play modern games at 1080p with medium graphics settings. The high-end Legion 7i Gen 7 costs $4,120 and comes with an Intel Core i9-12900HX and an RTX 3080 Ti that's capable of running 4K games.

In addition to Intel and AMD CPUs, there is a full range of Nvidia GPUs, with displays with refresh rates up to 165Hz. In our testing, we found Lenovo's Legion gaming laptop lineup to be quite competitive.
