The LG Ultra PC series laptops are equipped with IPS displays that provide anti-glare and narrow bezels. In Europe, LG launched ultra-thin 14-inch and 16-inch laptops last week. The displays are anti-glare IPS screens with narrow bezels. The laptops feature AMD Ryzen 5000 series processors with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD storage.

A 72Wh battery powers the LG Ultra PC series laptops, which are claimed to provide 18 hours of battery life. Additionally, they come with a fingerprint sensor and a face login feature. The LG Ultra PC 16U70Q starts at EUR 949 for the AMD Ryzen 3 5300U model in Germany. In contrast, the LG Ultra PC 14U70Q starts at EUR 1,049 for the AMD Ryzen 5 5625U variant.

The specifications of both LG laptops are similar. In addition to a 16-inch and 14-inch anti-glare IPS display, the LG Ultra PC 16U70Q and LG Ultra PC 14U70Q also possess a WUXGA resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio. The AMD Ryzen 5000 series processors are paired with AMD Radeon Vega graphics. The M.2 SSD storage can hold up to 1TB and 16GB of RAM.

The LG laptops come with a 72Wh battery that can last up to 21 hours when playing videos. Their 1.5W dual speakers are powered by DTS:X Ultra technology. An HD webcam is also included with the LG Ultra PC 16U70Q and LG Ultra PC 14U70Q.

LG Ultra PCs are equipped with security features like face recognition and fingerprint sensors. The display can also be blurred when you are not looking at your screen or when a stranger looks at it. If someone is watching over your shoulder, these laptops also display a privacy alert.

Its dimensions are 356.3x248.6x16.3mm and its weight is around 1.6kg. In contrast, LG's Ultra PC 14U70Q measures 313.9x220.45x16.3mm and weighs 1.2kg. The devices include a micro SD slot, USB Type-C, standard HDMI, and USB Type-A ports. The laptops are also equipped with Bluetooth v5.1 and Intel Wi-Fi 6 technology.
