Flying cars are added to Cyberpunk 2077, bringing us closer to the Blade Runner fantasy

Thanks to the work of one Cyberpunk 2077 modder, you can now drive your car through the clouds of Night City. A mod by Jack Humbert called Let There Be Flight (opens in a new tab) allows you to fly your car or bike among Cyberpunk 2077's skyline.

The mod has been in development for a while now, but after a series of updates and improvements, everything looks pretty clean. When you switch into the flying mode, your vehicle's wheels seamlessly rotate, making activating your boosters an incredible visual experience.

While your car hovers in the air, a booming rumble from your engine adds to the sense of immersion. A YouTuber named Last Known Mean recently brought Humbert's mod to the attention of the whole world(opens in a new tab), even though he's been working on it for a while now.

Humbert's work is impressive, but the video adds a sense of visual reference. Flying around Night City looks serene – or, dare we say, breathtaking – and your car appears to turn into a hovering vehicle effortlessly. Flying around on a motorbike, on the other hand, seems like chaotic fun.

The only thing you'll need is either this mod of the same name or Essenthy's Climate Change(opens in a new tab) to get the Blade Runner vibe. Just make sure you don't collide with a building.

Even though the Cyberpunk 2077 expansion will not be released until next year, a lot is happening in between to keep you entertained.

You can find plenty of Easter eggs in the game to establish links between the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Netflix show and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. These best RPGs will keep you occupied for many hours of fun.
