As a result, Humble Bundle can often come along with an entire franchise of games for the cost of less than one, making it difficult to resist the siren's song of clicking on that 'purchase' link that beckons so strongly.
The franchise is Capcom's Resident Evil, and Humble's 'Decades of Horror' bundle is the best way to discover it right now. Could you imagine yourself owning most of them on Steam you could?
The story behind why pharmaceuticals, weapons technology, and private corporations make it dangerous hardly needs an introduction, but just in case you haven't.
The series follows a recurring cast of characters as they struggle to deal with various zombie-like outbreaks seeded by the evil Umbrella Corporation as they attempt to save their world.
As a result of the games in this bundle, you will have the capability of playing any of the games from the very beginning of the saga, Resident Evil 0, all the way through Resident Evil 7.
The bundle includes the latest version or remake of each game. There is some controversy over whether Resident Evil 3 seemed too short in comparison to Resident Evil 2, but it does include a remake of Resident Evil 2.
The series' undeniable best entries are bundled in with it. I can barely summon the courage to play Resident Evil 7 again, but if you haven't visited the Baker family house, you're missing out.
The numbered entries are not the only games available. In addition, Resident Evil Revelations spin-offs are included. In its Deluxe Edition, the four episodes are included as well as two additional features.
The package also contains Resident Evil 4. Maybe you should wait until the upcoming remake if you haven't played any of its re-releases since the 2005 GameCube original.
The game is still a classic though, so it is quite a good addition to your Steam library if you haven't been playing it for a while. It probably goes without saying, but make sure to play it with the recently released Resident Evil 4 HD Project.
