Destiny 2's Trials of Osiris begin for another weekend, giving players another chance to earn new armor, cosmetics, and Adept weapons. This is the last week of Season of the Haunted, so make sure to earn those Flawless runs and max your Trials reputation.

The Trials event will begin with the daily reset on Friday, so we will update this article when the event starts. A new Origin trait has been added to Trials weapons.

Your Trials guns have increased aim assist, reload speed, stability, and range when you're the last member of a fireteam. When you reload while out of combat, you can switch to one of the Crucible Origin Trails, One Quiet Moment.

At that time, you can also check out Xur's Exotics. Saint-14 in the Tower has Trials cards that will determine certain bonuses.

The Trials of Osiris weekend PvP mode runs from Friday's daily reset until Tuesday's weekly reset, giving you five days to participate. The goal of the Trials is to achieve a 'Flawless' run, which means winning seven matches without losing any.

When you reach Flawless, you'll receive some special rewards and receive Adept weapons as well. As they have additional stat bonuses, they are among the most sought-after items.

The mode is a little easier to get into this season thanks to several changes. You can now jump into matches even if you don't have a full squad of three players to do so.

The Trials Passage, which provides access to the mode and tracks your wins, does not track your losses anymore, so even if you lose on a Flawless run, you can continue playing and earning rewards.

The Trials of Osiris has also been adjusted by Bungie so that you now earn rewards when you win rounds, not matches, and a reputation system similar to the Crucible and Gambit makes it easier to earn some of the Trials' unique loot.

As a final bonus, you can cash in Trials Engrams from this mode with Saint-14 over the weekend. Engrams can be tuned to yield specific loot pieces, or you can take your chances with random loot. Just starting in Trials can earn you great gear.
