Gamers will benefit from a five-second faster booting time with the new Xbox Series X update. This will reduce waiting time by a few seconds and help players get to their games quicker.
The development team is planning to make the boot time of the Xbox Series X even faster despite the Xbox Series X already being faster than Xbox One. Using a new startup animation, the team plans to accomplish this.
As compared to the original animation, which took nine seconds to boot, the new animation will take only four seconds. By the publication, the system will boot up 5 seconds faster than before, which will help users.
While it is still unclear when the Xbox Series X will have a new animation replacing the original one, the Xbox Series X is expected to boot up faster than ever before.
As the publication notes, the animation was already available for Xbox Insider testers, and it may appear alongside an upcoming update in August. As a result, the Xbox software update could include Discord Voice Chat along with a faster boot time.
As a bonus, the Xbox Series S will also be getting the new boot-up animation, so gamers using a less expensive console can benefit from the faster boot-up time.
Using SSDs instead of HDDs has allowed developers to create visually stunning games that can push boundaries when it comes to pushing boundaries.
As a result of the SSD on the Xbox X/S by Microsoft, players have been able to take advantage of the new quick resume feature on the console. Jumping between games takes just a few seconds and doesn't require the user to close each one individually.
Currently, there are expandable SSD cards designed specifically for the Xbox Series X/S that can provide additional storage of up to 2TB. These cards are offered by companies such as Seagate.
