Playstation's Share Factory Studio has received a new quick editing mode that will allow users to create short-form gameplay videos in a Tik-Tok-style format. Sony explained the new editing feature, which it has dubbed 'Bits,' in a blog post.
'Bits' enables gamers to choose a curated aesthetic for their gameplay clips, or customize them even further through 'Quick Edit.' A new Bits style will be released every week. Themes for Bits will vary with seasons, holidays, special events, and trending content.
According to the company, Bits will enable PlayStation gamers to share short-form gameplay videos that showcase achievements, jokes, stunts, and any other fun content.
In case you're not familiar with Share Factory Studio, it's PlayStation's free video editing app that lets players edit and shares gameplay footage directly from their consoles.
With the app, you can edit videos and audio with advanced features including HDR video support, animation, stickers, filters, and voice-over. Bits, however, appears to be a simple solution for those overwhelmed by Share Factory Studio's wide variety of options.
