The Chinese company has announced that its latest Legion gaming laptops, the R7000P 2022 and R9000P 2022, are identical to the Legion Y7000P and Y9000P that debuted earlier this year. 

Lenovo has equipped both the Legion R7000P 2022 and R9000P 2022 with AMD Ryzen processors. The laptops also feature Nvidia GeForce graphics. A 165Hz display is included, and the laptops feature Nahimic audio. The new machines also include DDR5 RAM and PCIe 4.0 storage.

Lenovo Legion R7000P 2022 price has been set at CNY 7,599 (roughly Rs. 88,200) for the configuration with the AMD Ryzen R5-6600H processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 graphics, as well as CNY 7,899 (roughly Rs. 91,700) for the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti graphics. 

In addition to the Legion R7000P 2022, AMD Ryzen R7-6800H is also available with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 graphics, priced at CNY 7,999 (roughly Rs. 92,800), as well as Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti at CNY 8,299 (roughly Rs. 96,300).

A Lenovo Legion R9000P 2022 with AMD Ryzen R7-6800H graphics and Nvidia GeForce RTX3060 costs CNY 9,499 (roughly Rs. 1,10,300) while an RTX3070Ti version costs CNY 11,699 (roughly Rs. 1,35,800).

Lenovo is now accepting pre-orders for the Legion R7000P 2022 and Legion R9000P 2022 in China, with both laptops scheduled for sale on June 17. As an introductory offer, both laptops will be available for CNY 1,000 (roughly Rs. 11,600) less than their regular retail price.

Lenovo launched the Legion Y7000P (2022) and Legion Y9000P (2022) in China in late February for CNY 6,799 (about Rs. 78,900) and CNY 8,999 (about Rs. 1,04,500), respectively.

With the Lenovo Legion R7000P 2022, you get a 16-inch 2.5K display (2,560x1,440 pixels) with a 165Hz refresh rate. This display also offers Dolby Vision and DC dimming. 

Lenovo has provided 16GB of DDR5 RAM, which operates at a 4800MHz frequency, along with their laptop, which is powered by AMD Ryzen R7-6800H processor. The graphics card is powered by Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti.

For thermal management, the Lenovo Legion R7000P 2022 uses the same Frost Blade Cooling System 4.0 as the Intel-based Legion Y7000P and Y9000P models.

A 512GB SSD is included with the Lenovo Legion R7000P 2022. The laptop has several connectivity options, including Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth, three USB 3.1 Gen 1, two USB 3.2 Gen 2, a 3.5mm audio jack, an HDMI 2.1 port, and an Ethernet port. A dedicated button enables the laptop's built-in webcam.

Besides its 80Whr battery, the Legion R7000P 2022 also sports a 19.9mm thick design and supports fast charging of up to 135W via USB Type-C. Despite being powered by Windows 11, the Lenovo Legion R9000P 2022 sports a 16-inch 2K display with a maximum brightness of 500 nits and a 165Hz refresh rate. It also supports DC Dimming and supports HDR.

The Legion R9000P 2022 offers AMD FreeSync and Nvidia G-Sync technologies. It is powered by an AMD Ryzen R7-6800H processor with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics. The laptop has 16GB of DDR5 RAM.

Thermal management is provided by Lenovo's Frost Blade Cooling System 4.0 on the Legion R9000P 2022. Legion R9000P 2022 has the same connectivity options as Legion R7000P 2022, as well as a dedicated webcam button.
