In Dell's XPS 13 lineup, you'll find stylish, portable, and 12th-generation speed

The latest versions of Dell's XPS 13 and XPS 13 2-in-1 are now available. Both of these machines are outfitted with cutting-edge 12th-generation Intel processors and have terrific screens.

Dell says their laptops will last up to 12 hours of battery life, which is more than a full day of work if you travel a lot for work or need a good screen for design work. With the Dell XPS, Dell's flagship laptop line, the model lineup is defined by high performance and a classy design.

The Dell XPS 13 is a capable travel companion. According to Dell, the latest model weighs less than three pounds and is 0.55 inches thick, making it an ultraportable.

The XPS 13 comes with a 12-generation Intel Core processor supporting up to Core i7. There is also support for up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of PCIe SSD storage.

In terms of graphics, Intel Iris Xe power a 13.4-inch FHD panel with a resolution of 1920-by-1200. However, there's a swanky 3840*2400 display option. It's touch-enabled as well.

Thunderbolt 4 (USB Type-C) provides both display and power delivery. A USB-C to USB-A adapter is also included. In the United States or Canada, the Dell XPS 13 has a starting price of $999. The developer edition has a starting price of $949 and comes with either Windows 11 or Ubuntu 20.04.

In addition to being a folio-style laptop, the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 is also a tablet that can detach from the keyboard. It weighs just under two pounds.

On the rear plate is a kickstand that lets you use the convertible as a traditional clamshell. It has a 13-inch touchscreen display with 2880 x 1920 resolution and Gorilla Glass 7.

The underlying hardware includes up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of PCIe SSD storage options. There are also 12-gen Intel Core i5 and i7 processors to choose from.

The device is connected with two Thunderbolt 4 ports, as well as a USB-C to USB-A adapter, which is quite handy when you are in a bind.

It's also the first Dell XPS with onboard 5G, allowing you to stay online even when Wi-Fi is down. Of course, you'll need a data plan for that. The Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 convertible will be available this summer. Pricing information has yet to be released.
