macOS Big Sur 11.6.7 with bug fixes is released by Apple

Apple has released macOS Big Sur 11.6.7 to the public with email attachment repairs.

The macOS Big Sur 11.6.7 update arrives during Apple's busy WWDC week with a minor bug fix. Mail and apps like Outlook had been running into an error when opening attachments, but the issue has now been corrected.

There isn't any information available as to whether there are other fixes included in this update. The Mac OS Big Sur operating system is an older operating system, so Apple provides security updates and bug fixes from time to time.

Mac OS Big Sur 11.6.6, which fixed bugs and addressed potential security risks, was the last update from Apple made to the operating system in May. In March, Apple released an update to the macOS Big Sur platform that included several other bugs.

MacOS 11.6.7's build number is now 20G630, up from 20G623.

In November 2020, Apple released macOS Big Sur for the first time. This update in the Mac operating system brought a number of major changes, such as the user interface redesign we have seen recently, and the addition of support for Apple Silicon.
