As Android 13 nears its release with several new beta releases in recent months, rumors about Samsung's One UI 5 skin have also picked up traction.
As part of this update, you will get several new features, as revealed by screenshots from an early build.
The Korean giant is expected to begin the One UI 5 beta program in late July this year, a month earlier than usual. One UI 5 is now available for the Galaxy S22, a couple of weeks after the rumored launch date.
In the past, the company launched its latest flagship devices with One UI beta programs in South Korea and then expanded the program to other countries.
The One UI 5 beta is now available in Germany, South Korea, and the United States for the Galaxy S22 series. There are over 2.5GB of beta firmware included in the August 2022 security update.
The beta initiative has not been officially announced, so it is not clear whether it will be available in other EU countries. The program is now live in Germany, according to reports on Twitter, Reddit, and other forums.
There are 16 predefined color themes in One UI 5 according to your current wallpaper. Furthermore, the quick settings panel, icons, and home screen have 12 color options.
Samsung's latest skin takes a cue from iOS 16 and lets you stack multiple widgets on top of each other, but this feature was already available on select Galaxy phones with One UI 4.1.
As part of One UI 5, the Camera app has also been improved. Using the Pro mode, users can get more out of their cameras by seeing helpful tips and tricks. Zooming will also be easier with one hand due to the zoom bar's increased responsiveness.
The Samsung Members app is required to join the Android 13 beta for the Galaxy S22 series. You can find detailed instructions on how to install One UI 5 beta in our guide.
If you're eager to try Android 13 on your Galaxy phone before its official release, you need to get in early. If you decide to exit the program midway, your phone will be completely formatted if you install the One UI 5 beta.
