The Apple iPhone 14 Pro Series will launch soon. There have been numerous leaks and rumors about the upcoming flagship, and now, the latest one reveals some information about it.
Apple will be integrating the new iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max with an Always On Display shortly if you did not know already.
According to Mark Gurman, it comes with new UI features that accompany iOS 16, and, according to a report, it includes Always-On Display, which brings brand new widgets to the screen.
Among the widgets included in this set are features such as weather updates, fitness, and other features that the users can customize to their liking.
According to Gurman, 'like the Apple Watch, the iPhone 14 Pro will display widgets showing weather, calendars, stocks, activities, and other data while maintaining a low frame rate and light brightness.'.
Similarly, there is going to be a setting provided, like the one on the Apple Watch, so that sensitive information isn't displayed on all users' lock screens.'
With the iPhone 14 Pro's Always On Display, you will see basic information such as time, date, push notifications, and more. It works similarly to any other Always On Display on other smartphones.
In addition to the latest update, Apple unveiled its M2 chipset for the MacBook Air and Pro versions this year, as well as iOS 16 and macOS 13 Ventura at the WWDC.
The major change we will see with this new update is the revamped iOS lock screen, which will include additional UI tweaks and a revised lock screen design.
The rendering process has been streamlined and made much easier. The animated lock screen and the home screen are rendered in real-time using static wallpapers.
Having a lock screen that is more lively now thanks to the addition of widgets and notification cards that can be customized, has a lot more functionality.
It also can interact with widgets and the clock on the lock screen giving it an entirely different appearance.
When combining the Focus, Weather, Apple Pay, and Live Activities APIs, there is a possibility for better use cases on the lock screen since they can be combined. The new iCloud lock screen appears alongside updates to the iCloud Shared library, Messages, Mail, the Browsing experience, Apple Pay, Wallet, Maps, and Security.
Among the wallpapers available for iOS 16 Beta1, only two are official. In addition to Pride Wallpapers, Bokeh Wallpapers, Unity Wallpapers, Stripe Wallpapers, and Weather Wallpapers, there are Promotional Wallpapers for iOS 16.
In terms of resolution, these wallpapers measure 1560 x 3376 and 3208 x 3208 in terms of their size within the iPadOS 16 Build that is still to be released.
