With its first software update arriving shortly after, on August 10, the OnePlus 10T 5G has been released for purchase since August 6 with several bugs being fixed.

A week later, there is a larger software update that fixes more issues, adds optimizations, and improves the camera, among other things. The OnePlus 10T features a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup and is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

The latest OxygenOS 12.1 update arrives with the version number: CPH2413_11_A.06 for the OnePlus 10T 5G. OnePlus 10T 5G review unit received the same software update, so the rollout is live for Indian users.

The second software update adds many fixes and optimizations in comparison to the first. As for software performance, the update improves overall stability and optimizes background applications' stability.

The company has also optimized the display, OTG compatibility, and the fingerprint reader's recognition algorithm, which it claims will improve the user's experience when unlocking the device.

As for the cameras, both the front and rear of the device have been optimized, as well as both of the microphones. A new Portrait mode has been added to the rear camera, and so has been a new wide-angle camera shooting effect in the ultra-wide-angle mode.

The front-facing camera has also been improved with the OnePlus' AI Retouch tool. Aside from fixing software issues and camera optimizations, the SUPERVOOC charger has also been improved.

The OnePlus 10T 5G was announced globally and in India on August 3 and went on sale on August 6. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and comes with a 160W charging adapter.

A 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera adorn the phone's back. Although the OnePlus 10T 5G follows the OnePlus design philosophy, it does not include the iconic Alert slider.

The Alert slider was cut out to make room for other components like the 150W fast charging system and a larger 4,800mAh battery. According to a previous report, OnePlus plans to bring back the Alert slider in the future.
