The exact date and time of the official event have now been announced and it will take place on the following day.

GSM Arena has said that the event will take place on July 12th at 2 PM Beijing time, which is a week after the ceremony.

In addition to being rumored to be the next flagship for the company, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 will power the phone.

Realme is launching a new smartphone, under the newly separated Master series, that is aimed at young consumers.

GSM Arena reports that the line-up of this year's show will consist of two midrange smartphones, rather than the two midrange smartphones from last year.

A more powerful chipset will be available in the GT2 Explorer Master, compared to the GT2 Pro, but the real test will be when this phone is officially launched to see if it's worth the upgrade over the GT2 Explorer Pro.

There have been new specs leaked by TENAA suggesting that it could be: the screen will be 6.7 inches AMOLED with 1080p resolution, and it will be able to charge three times faster than an iPhone 6. There will also be two charging modes: 100W and 150W.

Among other specifications, the Galaxy S8 comes with a triple camera setup with dual 50MP sensors, 12 GB of RAM, and 512 GB of internal storage.
