Find N Fold, Find N Flip in Development; Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC to be Used: Report Oppo

The Chinese company launched the Oppo Find N as its first foldable smartphone in December last year. It is now reported that Oppo is working on two new foldable phones that could be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoCs.

It is said that one of the smartphones will be a horizontally folding phone, called the Oppo Find N Fold, and the other will be a vertically folding phone, called the Oppo Find N Flip. According to an earlier report, the company is working on two foldable smartphones with the same names.

The Chinese smartphone brand, Oppo, is working on two new foldable phones, according to tipster Yogesh Brar and PriceBaba. According to reports, both handsets will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processors.

According to the report, Oppo could launch a horizontally folding handset under the Oppo Find N Fold brand. The second handset will be a vertically folding phone called Oppo Find N Flip.

According to an earlier report, these two foldable Oppo handsets could be launched shortly. Both rumored foldable smartphones have yet to be confirmed by the Chinese manufacturer.

It is worth recalling that Oppo launched its first foldable phone, Find N, in December 2021. Both of the purported foldable handsets, however, haven't been launched in India, and it is unknown when they will arrive there.

A 7.1-inch inward folding display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 8.4:9 aspect ratio, 1,000 nits of peak brightness, and LTPO technology is featured on the Oppo Find N. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus used to protect the inner display.

The handset also features a 5.49-inch OLED display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. In addition to the Snapdragon 888 SoC, the Find N features up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS3.1 storage.

There are three rear cameras on the Oppo Find N: a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, and a 13-megapixel telephoto lens.

There is also a 32-megapixel camera on the outer screen and a 32-megapixel camera on the inner screen. There is a 4,500mAh battery in the Oppo Find N and it supports 33W SuperVOOC wired charging.
