Apple Watch Series 8 and Apple Watch Pro, along with the iPhone 14 series, are expected to launch in September. Apple will announce new iPad models at a separate event sometime in October this year, according to a new report.
Apple's M2 silicon chip is expected to power the entry-level iPad and iPad Pro at the rumoured launch event. Apparently, the 10th generation iPad will have a thinner design. It is said to have a square design and a flat bezel similar to the iPad mini. There is a larger screen than the previous iPad models.
According to a South Korean blog, Naver, Apple will host a separate tablet event in October, citing a Chinese manufacturer. Besides the M2 chip-powered iPad Pro, the company could unveil a redesigned entry-level iPad.
In the iPad 10th generation, the bezels will be thinner, and the rear camera will protrude. The leak indicates the device will have a larger display than previous generations, but the measurements are not provided.
The device is said to offer 5G connectivity. In addition to the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max, Apple's A14 Bionic SoC could also power the upcoming entry-level iPad model.
There are rumors that Apple will no longer include a 3.5mm headphone jack in the new iPhone. In addition, it could be compatible with USB Type-C.
