Rumors have been circulating about the OnePlus 10T for a couple of weeks now. Because OnePlus skipped it last year, the alleged device wasn't preceded by any predecessors. However, recent leaks indicate that the upcoming OnePlus 10T is in development and reveal the official-looking renders.
The leak comes from a well-known tipster, Steve H.McFly, along with SmartPrix. The alleged device is similar to the OnePlus 10 Pro that was introduced earlier this year.
However, there are some minor changes to its design. The report showcases a 360-degree video of the alleged render and also compares the flagship device against the OnePlus 10T.
The 10T may see a slight change in the design of the camera module at the rear. The OnePlus 10 Pro has a triple camera system and an LED flash that is disguised as a camera sensor, for aesthetic purposes.
New renders indicate that the OnePlus 10T will have the same feature, but the positioning of the camera might change. Modules will appear elevated compared to the flagship since they will sit slightly elevated above the rear body and frame.
The other important thing to notice in these renders is the lack of Hesselbrand branding. The device is not clear whether it will keep the collaboration, but that seems highly unlikely.
The OnePlus 10T, however, has a flat screen at the front, which is a welcome change from its predecessors with curved screens, which are a source of irritation for users.
Similarly, the punch hole on the screen of the OnePlus 10T appears to have moved to the center, a slight variation from the OnePlus 10 Pro with its cutout in the top left corner.
OnePlus 10T uses a plastic chassis instead of the metal chassis of the OnePlus 10 Pro. In contrast to the latter, OnePlus omits or moves the alert slider on the 10T to the other side. The report also reveals two colorways of the alleged 10T, likely one green and one standard black color.
Based on the render, the OnePlus 10T is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and have up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device is said to have a 6.7-inch LTPO E4 AMOLED display and Full HD+ resolution.
We can expect a 50MP primary rear camera alongside a 16MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, the OnePlus 10T uses a 32MP sensor. As a final note, the OnePlus 10R and OnePlus Ace both feature a 4800mAh battery that supports 150W fast charging.
