Leaked specs and launch timeline for Redmi K60 series: 2K display, 50MP camera, and more

Following the launch of the Redmi K50 series, the next-in-line series leaked online. While the company prepares for the August launch of its Redmi K50S series, a timeline has been released for the Redmi K60 series.

A reliable tipster posted on Weibo details about what the Redmi K60 series would offer and when it would launch in China.

While the tipster has a good history of accurate leaks, there is some skepticism about the Redmi K60 series' tip.In China, the Redmi K60 series is expected to debut in early 2023, according to the tipster.

Additionally, Xiaomi will deploy TSMC 4nm chipsets in its dual-platform Redmi K60 series, which means MediaTek and Qualcomm chips will be used.

Based on TSMC's 4nm process, MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 can be expected.

ItHome believes the Redmi K60 series has a modified Sony IMX766 sensor for its primary camera, which has a 50MP resolution.

The Redmi K60 series also features a 2K display with a hole-punch cutout at the top center that houses the front-facing camera.

Last but not least, it features an under-display fingerprint scanner for security and impressive charging capabilities.
