The Samsung Galaxy A04 and Galaxy A04s are not the only smartphones on the market that are being prepared to go on sale within the same price range.

A replacement for the A04, the M-branded smartphone is powered by the MediaTek chipset and has an identical design to the A04.

Geekbench recently reported the Galaxy M04 carrying model number SM-M045F to have passed through it.

In addition to running Android 12 on the device, it also comes with 3GB of RAM, although it is possible that more RAM could be added in the future.

In an online benchmark report, it appears as though the Galaxy M04 uses a MediaTek processor known as the 'MT6765V/WB,' or 'Helio G35' as its processing chip.

It features eight ARM Cortex-A53 cores that can be clocked at speeds of up to 2.3GHz on this chipset. There is a single CPU cluster that consists of all eight CPU cores working together.

Samsung is the only company that knows when the Galaxy M04 will become an official product, and it will likely come to market without much fanfare.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 have all of Samsung's marketing power behind them right now, and the company is busy preparing for Unpacked 2022.

A preliminary benchmark score of 861 points was achieved in a single-core test and 4,233 points in a multi-core test for the Galaxy M04, albeit these results aren't always accurate. Whatever the case, the Helio G35 is a low-cost chip with a 12nm process.

Samsung is considering removing depth sensors from mid-range smartphones planned for 2023, but we are not sure whether the Galaxy M04 will include one.
