OnePlus' 10 Pro isn't the best deal on Prime Day

There is an offer on the OnePlus 10 Pro as part of Amazon's Prime Day 2022, but we will not suggest purchasing it, as there is a better deal on another OnePlus phone. The OnePlus 9 Pro may be a device from 2021, but it is yours for $699, and you are getting the best version of the device the company offers.

For Prime Day, OnePlus has reduced the price of the OnePlus 10 Pro to $799, but you only receive the 8GB/128GB model, not the top 12GB/256GB model. It will cost you $969.

The $699 OnePlus 9 Pro comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, but we do not recommend it due to the RAM. In this case, it is the additional storage that is important. There is no MicroSD card slot on either OnePlus phone, so you will only be able to use the internal storage. Getting as much as possible is a good idea.

Nevertheless, shouldn't you always purchase the latest model if you have the opportunity? However, there is not a great deal of difference between the OnePlus 9 Pro and the OnePlus 10 Pro.

There is basically no difference between the screens, which are both 6.7-inch AMOLEDs, nor are there any significant differences between the rear cameras. Each has a 48-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens.

The only feature missing from the OnePlus 9 Pro is the 150-degree wide-angle mode. Although it is a cool feature, it is not a reason to purchase the product.

The OnePlus 10 Pro features a newer version of Hasselblad's software, but it does not significantly improve on the OnePlus 9 Pro over its little brother.

The 9 Pro and 10 Pro, along with the OnePlus 8 Pro, were tested to see how their cameras compare. Even though the OnePlus 10 Pro came out on top, when you look at the results, there isn't a lot to choose between these two.

The software on both devices is OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12 and OnePlus promises three major updates to the Android system for both devices. One of them has already been used by the OnePlus 9 Pro, but there are still two to go.

OnePlus 9 Pro comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, whereas the OnePlus 10 Pro has the newer Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. This is the biggest difference between the two devices. They are both flagship processors, so the speed is guaranteed, and neither challenges you with the latest games.

Price becomes a major consideration between the two phones, and the OnePlus 9 Pro is a great value even when you consider its age since it saves $270 over the OnePlus 10 Pro. This $699 OnePlus 9 Pro is just one of many smartphone deals on Prime Day 2022, but we definitely recommend it if you want a OnePlus phone.
