Apple will launch iPhone 14 in mid-September and, up until now, it was believed that iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max would get the best upgrades, while iPhone 14 would be a plain phone with a new chip.
As a result, that story has been killed. According to reports, all upcoming iPhones, iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max, will have Samsung M12 OLED displays.
A Forbes report stated that 'Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) CEO Ross Young revealed that Samsung's 'M12 OLED material set' display technology would be available on all iPhone 14 models.'
Even the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra has not been able to get it! An earlier report from The Elec also claimed that Apple was considering the M12 at the time of the report.
The same report states that the M12 OLED panel will also appear in Samsung's upcoming foldable phones before it appears in Apple's iPhone 14 when it is officially announced at the end of January.
The Economic Times reports that red, green, and blue pixels make up the main components of the new screen. The iPhone 14 series will also have a more accurate color display thanks to the M12 OLED.
As far as the official release date of the iPhone 14 series is concerned, it is not yet known, and there are also no further details regarding it. According to recent trends, the Apple iPhone 14 will be released on September 13. The iPhone 14 series is likely to launch on the first or second Tuesday of September, based on Apple's history.
As a result, if the Apple event is held on September 6 or 13, then that would be the date for the event. According to the report, Apple officially released the iPhone 13 series on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, a day after the launch of the iPhone 12.
Apple had started pre-orders for the iPhone 13 on September 17, Friday, 2021, three days after the phone was launched. iPhone 14 pre-orders are expected to begin on September 9 or 16.
