Specifications of the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 leaked ahead of launch, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC rumored

Just hours before the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 becomes official in China, the phone is rumored to feature an 8-inch Eco2 OLED 2K main display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

According to reports, the cover display measures 6.56 inches and is based on an E5 AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. With a triple rear camera setup, the handset may feature a 50-megapixel main sensor and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.

Abhishek Yadav leaked the specifications of the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 on Twitter. An 8-inch 2K Eco2 OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate will be featured on Xiaomi's foldable smartphone.

The phone will also have a 6.56-inch full-HD+ E5 AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and LPDDR5 RAM are claimed to be paired with UFS 3.1 storage on the handset.

The smartphone is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary camera. The camera could be paired with a 13-megapixel secondary lens and an 8-megapixel third lens.

There may be a 4,500mAh battery in the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 with 67W fast charging support. Additionally, it may include an X-axis haptic motor and dual speakers. Weight may be 262g for the phone.

It is reported that when unfolded, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 will measure 5.4mm thick - a fact that has already been confirmed by Xiaomi. Based on the tipster's information, the folded smartphone is 11.4mm thick. It is also confirmed that the phone will have the company's proprietary micro-droplet hinge.

Earlier this week, Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Fold 4 foldable smartphone alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 4. During an event scheduled for 7 pm local time (4.30 pm IST), Xiaomi will launch its foldable phone and the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4 as well as Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro.
