Several rumors suggest that Apple will launch the new iPhone 14 and Apple Watch Series 8 models on September 13th, along with the Apple AirPods Pro 2 on September 15th.
As per reports, Apple will launch four new smartphones under the iPhone 14 series in September - iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, Apple iPhone 14 Pro, and Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max.
A few notable changes are expected to the 'Pro' models of the Apple iPhone series, the most notable of which will be the new notch-replacing 'pill-shaped' cutout.
The DigiTimes report claims both Apple iPhone 14 Pro and Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max will have 6GB of RAM and faster memory.
The upcoming iPhone 14 lineup will include high-end models with 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM, a faster and more efficient standard of memory than older ones.
iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max are expected to feature LPDDR4X RAM, similar to the current iPhone models.
Unlike the Apple iPhone 13 series, all models in the iPhone 14 series are said to feature 6GB of RAM. But only the Pro models in the Apple iPhone 14 lineup are expected to be powered by a new ‘A16’ chip.
A research analyst at Apple, Ming-Chi Kuo, believes that the company will continue to use the A15 Bionic chip for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max when they come out next year.
Apple is expected to launch the new Apple iPhone 14 series, Apple Watch Series 8, Apple Watch Series 8 'Pro', Apple AirPods Pro 2, and other gadgets at a special event on September 13.
According to reports, Apple will start shipping its new iPhone 14 series to retailers on September 23, which is less than a month after its launch. The claim cannot be independently verified by us.
The report may be true, however, considering Apple typically launches its flagship smartphone series on the second Tuesday of September, which indicates the information may well be true.
