The Lenovo Legion Y70 is set to launch in August with a triple-rear camera setup featuring 50 megapixels

The company has teased the Legion Y70 online, revealing some of its specifications and design.

The smarthphone will also launch in August, according to Lenovo. This teaser image also shows the design of the triple rear camera module with 50 megapixels.

Silver is the colour option for this handset, which has a flat rear panel and sides. Aside from OIS, the Legion Y70 will also support 8K video recording.

The Legion Y70 smartphone will be thin, according to the company. Through the microblogging website, Weibo, Lenovo has shared a teaser for its Legion Y70 smartphone.

A launch date of August next month has also been announced by the company. According to the teaser poster, the handset's rear design has been revealed.

The silver colour option comes with a flat rear panel and sides. The volume rockers are also visible on the right spine. A metallic finish could also be available on the Lenovo Legion Y70.

Optical features include a 50-megapixel triple rear camera with OIS and 8K video recording capability. Additionally, the camera module has an LED flash.

A detailed specification list and plans for launching the smartphone in other markets, including India, have not yet been shared by the company.

The Lenovo Legion Halo gaming smartphone has been spotted on the benchmarking website Geekbench, according to recent reports.

The smartphone's alleged specifications and images were shared online shortly after. It is yet to be confirmed whether the Lenovo Legion Y70 and Legion Halo smartphones share the same camera module and rear design.
