With just a few hours to go, Motorola mysteriously canceled its August 1st event, which was originally scheduled for that same day.

Motorola has now confirmed the event will be held on August 11th after teasing the date last week. In addition to the Moto Razr 2022 foldable phone, the Moto X30 Pro is expected to be unveiled at the launch.

At the August 11th launch, we don't expect to hear any details on the US release since this is the Chinese reveal.

In the coming weeks, we expect to learn everything we can about the two new phones, including any last specs that haven't already leaked.

According to the company's Weibo account, the rescheduled date has been confirmed. Motorola's event is set for 2 AM ET on August 11th, so you can expect some news about these new products when you wake up. Unless the launch is postponed, as with the original unveiling.

Motorola canceled its Aug. 1st event just a few hours before it was scheduled to begin, and the brand has not yet disclosed why the event was canceled.

In the days leading up to that event, tensions between the US and China were high, as US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was scheduled to visit Taiwan.

Although Motorola hasn't confirmed the reason for canceling the event, some people believe this may have been the reason.
