The Redmi K50 Pro and the Redmi K50 Gaming edition of the Redmi K50 smartphone have been followed by an even higher specced version called the Redmi K50 Ultra in China.

Aside from the 12-bit 1.5K resolution display, Qualcomm boasts the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor, three cameras at the back including a 108MP sensor, and fast charging up to 120W.

The price is also quite reasonable, in typical Redmi fashion, so you won't have to spend too much money on it. With its starting price of just CNY 2,999, the Redmi K50 Ultra is one of the cheapest smartphones on the market

As well as a 12bit 120Hz AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip, vapor chamber cooling, and 120W fast charging, the Redmi K50 Ultra packs some impressive hardware.

The K50 Ultra also comes with a limited edition Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team model. In terms of specs, the K50 Ultra features a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision playback.

The Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS3.1 storage under the hood. MIUI 13 is the software. Fast charging with 120W powers the 5,00mAh battery.

A 108MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens are available on the K50 Ultra's rear. There is a 20MP camera on the front.

As you'd expect from a Mercedes AMG F1 edition, there will be a few extra aesthetic touches such as a carbon fiber texture and green accents that will make the phone stand out.

A version of the K50 Ultra with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage starts at CNY 2,999 and goes up to CNY 4,199 for the Mercedes F1 special edition with 12GB/512GB.

As of the time of writing, the Redmi K50 Ultra is currently a China-exclusive smartphone. We have not been able to announce the availability and price of the product in the global market.
