The Samsung Care+ subscribers will pay less for Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 screen repairs

A new generation of Samsung Galaxy Z products was launched this week at Samsung's Unpacked event.

According to reports, Samsung Care+ is reportedly lowering repair costs significantly this year to entice users to buy its new foldable devices.

You are covered against falls, spills, and cracked screens under the Samsung Care+ plan. A new foldable phone's damaged screen could be replaced for $29.

There is one year of accidental damage protection included with Samsung's foldable phones. In addition to accidental damage coverage, the device's back cover and screen are also covered.

If a foldable screen needs to be replaced after the warranty period, users must pay the full price. Samsung's new Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 screen repairs start at $29, according to The Verge.

If you have a Samsung Care+ plan that costs $11 a month, you can receive a screen repair for the previous generation. Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. This model's out-of-warranty screen repair costs $480 without Samsung Care+.

With minor upgrades over their predecessors, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 will be available in the coming weeks. Pre-orders for the devices in India will begin at noon on August 16.

Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC powers both new phones, which feature variable refresh rates.

The display and rear glass are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus Plus, and they are dust and water resistant to IPX8.
