The Samsung Flip 4 and Fold 4 will offer 'buy now, pay later' services in India

As an option for Indian customers interested in buying Samsung's flagships like the Galaxy S22 series and foldable devices like the Fold 3 and Flip 3, Samsung has introduced a 'buy now, pay later' service.

The announcement comes just days ahead of the company's Unpacked 2022 event, where the company will unveil its next batch of folding phones, dubbed Fold 4 and Flip 4 in preparation for the event.

Samsung says it's offering the service on its flagships and foldable for the first time, allowing consumers to 'own premium phones easily and conveniently.'

This service is available only to those with a credit limit of at least, and a credit limit that does not exceed the maximum limit.

The buy now, pay later service allows eligible customers to pay 60 percent of the total amount over 18 equal monthly installments. 

As a bullet payment, Samsung suggests paying the remaining 40 percent in the 19th installment.

Samsung is providing its customers with the option of buying now and paying later when buying flagships and foldable from its retail stores throughout the country.

A couple of days earlier, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S8 and S8+ in its Galaxy Unpacked event, which will take place on August 10.

At this event, it is expected to release its next generation of folding devices, known as the Fold 4 and Flip 4.

The Galaxy Watch 5 series is expected to be unveiled at the same event, which will also coincide with the Samsung Unpacked event.
