According to a Weibo user, Vivo X Fold S will be the upgraded version of the Vivo X Fold. It debuted earlier this year with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, which is Vivo's first foldable phone.
According to the user on Weibo, Vivo will equip the S version with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. According to rumors, the rumored handset will also be able to charge more quickly than the Vivo X Fold.
The Vivo X Fold S may be the next foldable smartphone from the Chinese company, according to a Weibo user. Vivo might also use Qualcomm's current flagship, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, in its upcoming smartphone.
As part of the device, you'll also get fast charging support of up to 80W via a wired connection and 50W via a wireless connection.
There are also rumors that the rumored Vivo handset will have dual ultrasonic fingerprint sensors under the display.
Earlier this week, a related report claimed that Vivo might introduce a foldable smartphone soon. Smartphones with ultrasonic fingerprint scanners are expected to be vertical folding devices.
Moreover, Vivo X Fold was launched in April with a Samsung E5 2K+ (1,916x2,160 pixels) main display that refreshes at 120Hz.
Also on the Vivo phone is a 6.53-inch HD+ display with 1,080x2,520 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC combined with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM powers the phone.
There are four rear cameras on the Vivo X Fold, including a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 12-megapixel portrait sensor, and an 8-megapixel periscope-style super-telephoto sensor.
There is also a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. With up to 512GB of storage and a 4,600mAh dual-cell battery, the phone can charge at up to 66W through wired charging and up to 50W through wireless charging.
