Earlier this week, the Xiaomi 12T Pro was spotted on the US FCC and is reportedly undergoing internal testing in Asia and Europe.
According to reports on Thailand's National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission website, Xiaomi 12T Pro will be available in multiple Asian markets before the end of the year.
In Asian and European markets, internal testing of the smartphone has already begun, according to the US Federal Communication Commission website. An image allegedly showing a 200-megapixel sensor has been obtained by a publication.
It has been reported that the rumoured Xiaomi 12T Pro has been certified by the NBTC, as per a tweet by tipster Mukul Sharma. A model number of 22081212UG appears on the image Sharma shared. The US FCC has already spotted a smartphone with the same model number.
The listing indicated that it would come with 5G 4G LTE network connectivity, dual-SIM, and NFC capabilities. The device may be available with 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, or 12GB RAM + 256GB storage options.
Rumours suggest that the Xiaomi 12T Pro will be a rebranded version of the Redmi K50S Pro. Listed in the Compulsory Certification of China database, the handset will support 120W fast charging and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. A 200-megapixel main sensor is also expected to be included in the phone.
It is reasonable to assume that the Xiaomi 12T Pro will also feature a 200-megapixel sensor, since the Redmi K50S Pro packs the same specifications.
According to a report in the French publication Phonandroid, this is indeed the case. An image of the Xiaomi 12T Pro suggests a triple 200-megapixel camera setup, according to the report.
A smartphone module with three cameras and a resolution of 200 megapixels can be seen in the image. Xiaomi 12T Pro is said to inherit the design of Xiaomi 12 Pro, but its camera module is more prominent.
The Xiaomi 12T series could be released in Black, Blue, and Silver colors in October, according to a recent report.
