There will be even more purple on Samsung's Galaxy S22

You couldn't get enough purple from the old purple? It's Bora Purple time. Samsung is to be credited

As the company's new version of its Samsung Galaxy S22 smartphone reveals, Samsung is in love with the color purple.

Besides the color, the new Galaxy S22, Bora Purple, is identical to the regular Galaxy S22. Do you know what that purple color looks like?

Samsung produced purple phones in the past: the Galaxy S8 came in Orchid Gray; the Galaxy S9 came in Lilac Purple, and the Galaxy Z Flip 3 was available in Lavender.

It's also important to remember that the Galaxy S22 is already available in Violet, which is quite close to purple.

Adding to its press release, Samsung said the new color stands for 'embracing individuality, pushing boundaries, and constantly innovating under an openness philosophy.'

Bora is the Korean word for purple. It is therefore called 'purple purple' because of its purple hue.

This coincides with Samsung's summer Unpacked event, where it is expected to launch a couple of foldable phones, in addition to smartwatches and earbuds.
