Wear OS now appears as 'Other devices' in the Pixel Battery widget, which now has compact sizes

In Android 13 Beta 3, we noticed how the Pixel Battery widget can be resized into smaller sizes, but you don't need to wait for the new operating system to take advantage of this feature. Android 12 is receiving a Settings Services update, along with a partial Wear OS look.

The Pixel's Battery widget is much smaller with version 1.1.0.452445739.sr of Settings Services. A 2*1 configuration is now possible in place of the previous 2*2 configuration.

In the meantime, as we noted last night, there's a 5*1 size that can display three items at once: phone, left earbud, and right earbud. The Pixel Buds are shown as a percentage at 4*1.

Additionally, the percentage bar will now resize to fit the available space. In the case of only one device, the rectangle will be occupied by it. In the past, users were left with a lot of empty space. Also, Google changed the icon used to represent Pixel Buds from the cover to the one below. This is more accurate now.

Another big update is the addition of an 'Other devices' line item, which counts connected Bluetooth hardware. Another big update is the addition of an 'Other devices' line item, which counts connected Bluetooth hardware.

Fitbit and Wear OS are included in this, but the Pixel Battery widget has not yet reported the battery level. Although a count isn't very useful, it is quicker than using the Quick Settings tile. Selecting this item will take you to the Settings Connected devices pag

As part of Android 13 Beta 3, Setting Services 1.1.0.452445739.sr was released to the Play Store for Android 12.
