In terms of the two premium models, leaks and rumors have been pretty compelling so far. The two lower-end phones, however, seem to have only minor upgrades.
There is no doubt that the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will be a big step up from their current counterparts. The latest leak has us even more excited.
According to Digitimes, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will both have 6GB of RAM using a faster memory type known as LPDDR5.
As a result, we can expect significantly improved performance in these two phones, expected to launch in mid-September, thanks to their A16 Bionic processor.
That means apps should load faster, games should run smoother, and everything should run more smoothly and faster.
While the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will have 6GB RAM, they'll have a slower type of memory, LPDDR4X, and the same A15 processor as the iPhone 13.
This divergence reflects other leaks and rumors we've heard so far, from the likes of Jon Prosser, Ming-Chi Kuo, and Ross Young.
With a 48MP sensor, the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will boast larger camera bumps than the 13 Pro, which has a 12MP sensor.
All of this should be stressed as unofficial, and Apple has not yet confirmed it. But it seems to upgrade to the new iPhone 14 or iPhone 14 Max won't make the biggest difference in your life... however, if you spend a little more, you might just be shocked.
