What we know about Apple's 2022 iPad Pro update

Apple's 2022 fall launch schedule will feature the iPhone 14 series. New tablets may also be in the pipeline. So far, not much reliable information has leaked about the iPhone 14, but crumbs of possible improvements are making their way around social media.

The iPad Pro refresh this year isn't expected to change much. Another generation will probably feature a metallic chassis, a squircle camera island, and a uniform bezel. Things can get interesting with wireless charging.

The iPad Pro's final design will be affected by Apple's final decision regarding wireless charging hardware. So far, we haven't heard anything new about the iPad Pro's final design. Whatever route Apple takes, the perk will be valuable.

A 12.9-inch iPad Pro without cellular connectivity starts at $1,099 for the base model with the M1 chip. Other than dark gray and silver, Apple has not yet announced any new colors for the iPad Pro.
