Last month, OPPO announced their Reno 8 series in China as the successors to their Reno 7 line. We believe they will arrive in India much like the previous generation Reno models. However, they have yet to confirm the launch date.

OPPO's Reno 8 series will be launched in India on July 18th, according to a report. According to reports, Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro Plus will debut in the country as well, but the latter will be renamed Reno 8 Pro.

Therefore, unlike the China version of the Reno 8 Pro, it will ship with the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC instead of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC.

On July 18th, OPPO is expected to launch the Reno 8 series in India, but only the Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro (which is the Reno 8 Pro+) will be available. MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC could be used in the India variant of the Reno 8 Pro.

In addition to the 6.43-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display and the punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, the Reno 8 also features a 90Hz refresh rate.

With up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processor. With an 80W fast charger integrated into the 4,500mAh battery, the phone runs on an Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1 skin out of the box.

A MariSilicon X chip is housed within the OPPO Reno 8, as well as a triple camera setup on the back, with a 50MP f/1.8 lens coupled with a 2MP B&W sensor and a 2MP macro camera.
