Apple has told its store employees to prepare for a launch on September 16, although the event will likely take place on September 7, a Wednesday.
According to reports, Apple will unveil four new iPhone 14 models at its splashy event next month. As previously reported, the iPhone 14 lineup will include a 6.1-inch iPhone 14, a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max, a 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro, and a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max.
It is also possible that Apple will introduce three new Apple Watch models at the event, including the Watch 8, Watch SE, and even the Watch Extreme Edition. Apple will likely hold its next iPhone launch event online, as it did during previous pandemics.
The company will keep the event digital-only despite inviting some developers to WWDC in person. Apple has told its store workers that the launch will be on September 16, not September 7, a Wednesday. As a replacement for iPhone 13 mini, Apple may also release iPhone 14 mini in iPhone 14 series
The iPhone 14 series will include several improvements, including a new design and a better camera. In addition, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will have a taller profile and a better camera module to accommodate the new internals.
In both iPhone 14 Pro models, there will be a triple rear camera setup that includes 48 MP wide, 12 MP ultra-wide, and telephoto lenses. An 8K video would be supported by the upcoming iPhone 14 series. The Shazam app recognizes over 70 billion songs as it celebrates its 20th anniversary
A 120Hz refresh rate display and 8GB of RAM will be available on the Apple iPhone 14 Pro model. In contrast, the iPhone 13 model comes with a storage option of 128GB. It is believed, however, that the base storage capacity of the iPhone 14 series devices will be 64GB.
It is expected that Apple will release three smartwatch models this year. It is expected that Apple Watch Series 8 will be released along with the new Apple Watch Series SE model as well as a rugged model.
The rugged model that will be the company's extreme sports option will be called Pro, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. Gurman suggests that Apple Watch Series 8 Pro will boast a larger and more 'shatter-resistant' display. Also included are 'enhanced hiking and swim tracking, and longer battery life'.
The Apple Watch is expected to come with a bulkier, rugged case. Gurman says that this case will be made from a “high-quality, non-aluminum metal material.”
Apple Watches in the future are expected to feature a larger and more shatter-resistant display, hiking and swim tracking, longer batteries, and a thicker, more rugged case made from nonaluminum metal.
It is expected that this rumoured smartwatch will use the S8 chipset, which is the same as the one found in the Watch Series 7 and Series 6.
It may be the first time the AirPods Pro support lossless playback. As part of the upcoming AirPods Pro, Apple is also expected to improve the health management and fitness tracking capabilities. In this segment, more details are awaited.
It is expected that the AirPods will have a more compact design. A new charging case might replace the stem. The AirPods Pro 2 are also expected to have a skin-detect sensor.
