The PC version of Spider-Man Remastered supports ultra-wide displays and Ray-Tracing. Ahead of the game's launch, here's everything you need to know.
A highly-anticipated remastered version of Spider-Man Remastered, a PlayStation exclusive title from 2018, is all set to launch on PC. At 8:30 PM IST on August 12, the game will be available in India.
The game will be available both on Steam and on the Epic Games Store. In comparison to the original version, there are several major changes, including unlocked framerates, support for ultra-wide displays, ray traced reflections, and keyboard and mouse support.
In addition to PlayStation 5 DualSense controller support, the game also features haptic feedback and vibration effects that will make gameplay more immersive.
PlayStation 5 players will get the game's remastered version, which includes the Black Cat DLC and itself is based on the PlayStation 4 title. In addition, the remastered version features a younger-looking Peter Parker, who many fans claim resembles Tom Holland.
A 64-bit version of Windows 10 or higher is required, and the game occupies 75 GB of storage. Spider-Man Remastered runs comfortably at 720p on an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950 or equivalent AMD GPU based on the minimum system requirements, suggesting that the developers have optimized the game pretty well.
Also, the game's CPU requirements are on the lower end, requiring an Intel Core i3-4160 or similar AMD processor. Also, the game requires a minimum of 8GB of RAM, which is pretty standard now.
The minimum requirements for Spider-Man Remastered's Ultimate Ray Tracing feature are an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 or AMD Radeon RX6950 XT. A CPU that supports Intel Core i7-12700K or AMD Ryzen 9 5900X or higher is also needed.
If users wish to play on the highest settings, they should ideally have 32GB of RAM and 75GB of free space on their SSD.
A PlayStation 4 port of God of War, Days Gone, and Horizon Zero Dawn is available in India on both Epic Store and Steam for Rs 3,999, which is higher than other PlayStation 4 ports.
A pre-order for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will unlock three different Spider-Man suits - the Spider-Punk Suit, the Iron Spider Suit, and the original Velocity Suit. The Spider-Drone gadget is also available in the early game, and players will be rewarded with five extra skill points.
