NASA doesn't just study asteroids, comets, and solar storms

NASA is excited about this mission on Earth despite dangerous asteroids, comets, and solar storms. Earth, like every other planet, moon, galaxy, or another object out in space, has several interesting aspects.

Many secrets remain hidden, and it will require increasingly complex technology to expose them for humanity to see, understand and, if possible, profitably use, to ensure the welfare of future generations.

A new set of Earth-focused missions is being launched to find out more about our planet. NASA Earth also indicates that the Earth System Observatory will provide a holistic, 3D view of Earth with more Earth-focused missions.

'We're so excited! With a new set of Earth-focused missions, the Earth System Observatory gives us a 360-degree view of Earth, from bedrock to atmosphere,' NASA Earth tweeted.

As a result, NASA Earth retweeted a tweet from Thomas Zurbuchen, Associate Administrator, NASA, Science Mission Directorate announcing that an Independent Review Board (IRB) had been established to help us understand how our planet is changing.

The NASA Earth System Observatory has established an Independent Review Board to help us understand our changing planet.'NASA will develop new Earth-focused missions to aid in the fight against climate change, natural hazards, and forest fires.

A NASA report said, 'Earth System Observatory's unique satellite designs will work in harmony to provide a holistic, 3D view of Earth, from bedrock to atmosphere. The Earth System Observatory provides the most comprehensive view of Earth's changing climate yet.

NASA scientists believe they can provide information to communities around the world to help plan for the future by strengthening scientific understanding. This observatory focuses on aerosols, clouds, convection and precipitation, mass change, surface biology and geology, and surface deformation.

The formulation phase for the core observatory is underway. The observatory's trailblazer is a partnership between NASA and ISRO that combines two radar systems that can measure changes in Earth's surface to less than half an inch.

The NISAR mission will measure ice-sheet collapse, earthquakes, volcanoes, and landslides, some of the planet's most complex processes. The NISAR can help future planners and decision-makers manage hazards and natural resources.

NASA's independent review board will assess the concepts developed during preliminary formulation for robustness and compliance with the mission requirements. As NASA follows previous large, strategic science missions, it learns.

As part of the observatory's goals, the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine have developed a 2017 Earth Science Decadal Survey that lays out ambitious but very important research and observation guidance.
