A black hole is a massive and dense object in space that light cannot escape; it has been around for centuries. Einstein's theory of general relativity predicted black holes.
Black holes form when the center of a massive star collapses in upon itself. This collapse also causes a supernova that blasts part of the star into space.
NASA’S Exoplanets team reposted a video NASA originally published in May sharing audio of sound waves that had previously been identified but inaudible.
The Exoplanets team shared a 34-second clip on Twitter and explained there is a misconception and no sound in space.
There is no sound in space origin because most of the space is a vacuum that provides no way for sound waves to travel.
The black hole is at the center of the Perseus galaxy cluster gas grappled astronomers after they previously discovered pressure waves in the black hole that translated into one inaudible note.
It is about 57 octaves below middle C, where humans cannot hear it. Researchers produced a sonification of astronomical data into sound.
The sounds of a Black hole are 100 times more frightening than you imagine.
