If another habitable planet exists, humans will survive a mass extinction if it does exist. The “Earth 2.0” project of a famous Chinese company seeks to find a planet outside the solar system with similar conditions to those on Earth so that humans can live on it.

Using this position in orbit, the Chinese Academy of Sciences estimates that it can detect 29,000 exoplanets, of which about 5,000 will be the size of Earth.

According to researchers, the observatory will discover between 10 and 20 planets that humans might be able to inhabit. Earth 2.0 would be the result.

Simply finding and identifying habitable planets would not suffice for the search for habitable planets to be effective.

It is expected that once the candidate planets are discovered, they will be studied further by observatories on the surface of the Earth or in orbit! The final point I would like to make is that as exams go on, water and even life can appear in those places.

Gizmodo reports that the Chinese space agency has yet to commit to supporting this project until it becomes a reality.
