SpaceX launched 46 Starlink satellites from Space Launch Complex 4 East onboard a Falcon 9 rocket. On Friday, SpaceX launched another batch of Starlink satellites into orbit led by billionaire tycoon Elon Musk.

Taking to his official Twitter account, Musk, the founder of American spacecraft manufacturer, and satellite communications corporation SpaceX, shared the details of the new satellite launch.

SpaceX reported that Falcon 9 launched 46 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Vandenberg Space Force Base.

It landed over a drone ship in the Pacific Ocean nine minutes after launch, followed by a short liftoff. As soon as the livestream ended, the second stage was expected to deploy the satellites 63 minutes after launch.

According to SpaceNews, the new satellites are part of Group 3, which orbits in a shell potentially susceptible to debris 'squalls' from a Russian anti-satellite test.

The SpaceX constellation, which includes 841 Starlink satellites, is affected by 6,000 close approaches caused by a conjunction squall.

As defined by COMSPOC standards, a conjunction occurs when two orbiting objects are within 6 miles of each other. In past discussions about space junk, SpaceX has stressed that its satellites can maneuver to avoid close-approaching spacecraft and debris.

In a report, COMSPOC stated that Group 3 of Starlink's five layers of spacecraft are in an orbit similar to other sun-synchronous satellites that have come close to the Russian ASAT debris in the past.

Teslarati reports Group 3 is 97.4 degrees incline and at an altitude of 347 miles .The company has already sent two other Group 3 collections into orbit, both from Vandenberg, on July 10 and July 22.

A new record was set by SpaceX in 2022 with its 36th launch. In 2022, the company completed its 62nd consecutive first stage landing and its 34th booster flight.

SpaceX flew Friday's Falcon 9 first stage, which was the 10th flight for this Falcon 9 first stage.
