Vivo Y77e 5G comes with Mediatek Dimensity 810 SoC and 5,000mAh battery: Price, specs
A new Vivo Y-series smartphone, the Y77e 5G was silently unveiled in China. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC, the smartphone sports a waterdrop-style notch display and a 60Hz refresh rate. There are two rear cameras on the Vivo Y77e 5G, including one with 13 megapixels.
An onboard storage capacity of up to 256GB is available, as well as up to 8GB of RAM. Vivo Y77e 5G has a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. According to Vivo, the price of the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model of the Y77e 5G in China is set at CNY 1,699.
A 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model is also available, as well as an 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model. Prices of these variants have yet to be revealed by Vivo. You can choose from Crystal Black, Crystal Powder, or Summer Listening to the Sea (translated). Currently, there is no information about its launch and availability in other markets, including India.
OriginOS is the operating system used by the dual-SIM (Nano) Vivo Y77e 5G. A 6.58-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,408) display with a 60Hz refresh rate, a 90.61 percent screen-to-body ratio, and a 180Hz touch sampling rate is on board. The system is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC with an octa-core CPU and a Mali G57 GPU with up to 8GB of RAM.
A dual rear camera setup on the Vivo Y77e 5G consists of a 13-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.2 lens, as well as a 2-megapixel macro sensor with an f/2.4 lens. An 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 lens is at the front of the phone for taking selfies and video chats. There are several modes available with the camera unit, including super HDR, multilayer portrait, slow-motion, panorama, and live photo.
Onboard storage on the Vivo Y77e 5G is UFS 2.2 and can be expanded (up to 1TB) via a microSD card. Wireless, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, Glonass, OTG, and a USB Type-C port are all available on the new device. A proximity sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and e-compass are all on board. Face unlock is also supported, as well as a fingerprint sensor on the side.
On the Vivo Y77e 5G, Vivo has included a 5,000mAh battery with 18W flash charging capability. On a single charge, the battery is claimed to deliver up to 25 days of standby time. Furthermore, the phone is measured at 164x75x8.25mm and weighs 194 grams.
